- The Sociological Perspective (SP) asks people to analyze issues/events in order to discover the truth. If we do so, often, our perspectives change dramatically.
- Utilizing the SP is a practice that should become the norm. Unfortunately, the norm, for most, involves simply accepting, not first analyzing, what they’ve been told.
- Whether you realize it or not, life experiences have already caused you to reassess/analyze your beliefs. This reassessment is the essence of the Sociological Perspective.
